Spectacular, as usual. How do you prevent more stain from being absorbed near the end grain?

Very accurately paper with sand 1200 grit I grind, but it requires skill, it is necessary to train. I have properly understood you?

I hope that my post is not misinterpreted. I did not intend to sound obnoxious, just to be clear.

I think actually the problem is that you sanded the understain too aggressively removing more than necessary on the bottom 3/4 of the pipe. If you had sanded lightly enough, you would have managed to achieve the same level of contrast you have near the end grain on the whole pipe. This, ultimately, is the goal of contrast staining. Next time try a bit of a lighter hand with a piece of worn out 400 grit wet/dry paper.

I was just giving you trouble. I have absolutely no problem with the language barrier... it just has to make you laugh sometimes.

It is necessary accurately отшлифовывать a pipe, but it demands ability.

отшлифовывать literally means to file away or file down, but in this instance I suppose it should be translated as careful sanding.
