First couple of 2009

This first one had an unfortunate crack running along the outside of the bowl. Fortunately it didn't reach inside the tobacco chamber. This one went to a friend who wanted to try smoking a pipe for the first time:

This was the quickest pipe I've made yet. It seemed to come together just right very fast:

Please forgive the photography; I'll be building a proper light box in the next week or two.

Nice work! However, I'd spend a little more time on te symmetry of the scond one...

Not bad. I agree with tritrek in that the cherrywood's tobacco chamber is off center. It appears there's too much briar on the back side of the pipe. Not bad though. Too bad about the crack on the pot.
