My first two attempts since getting my tenon turner and shank-end square from pimo. I've read some posts where folks are a bit critical about those two tools, but what a difference when they make when your only tools are a hand drill, dremel, and files. The turner alone cut a couple of hours out of each pipe.

(The shank is much more centered than that picture shows-I had the pipe turned a bit to avoid the glare)

Alan, I too try to make things happen with minimalist tools. The thing I struggle with the most would be solved with the PIMO tenon turning tool. Now I gotta save up for it. Hopefully this month.
