Just curious how some of you ship your pipes to customers (domestic US).

USPS Priority Mail. Quicker delivery than UPS, can be insured, free boxes for packaging, much less expensive than UPS for lightweight packages, plus, Mailman will pick up your Priority Mail packages at your home/work. Just schedule a Carrier Pickup through the USPS website: http://www.usps.com/pickup/welcome.htm? ... dulepickup
Doesn't cost extra.

Frank.

Ditto. USPS. Like $5.50 for a box, insurance, and shipping. And it gets it there in 2-3 days.

Also, if you have to mail something internationally, USPS costs less than half of the other guys.

You don't use delivery confirmation (or do you get that anyway if you insure it). Or a return receipt (signature proof of delivery)?

I know that USPS is the only way to send internationally. Shipped a pre-bore block pipe kit to Australia for less than $15 and the others wanted upwards of $80-$100!

Those are options you can add for a small extra cost.

The guy at the post office told me if you insure the package and a claim is made the first thing they will do is confirm if it has been delivered. I skip the confirmation for that reason. If it shows up damaged then you know it was delivered.
