my two cents

Post by GbpBulgaria »

Hi guys

I wasn’t posted here for a long time because of my enormous job occupancy but regularly checked the forum for news etc.

Past months I have made some custom orders and upgrade the workshop as well. New small lathe is on the bench and I am free to make some things better now.

Here are few pictures of my last made pipes. Actually they are in my ‘private collection’ of mistaken pipes – first one and the second – well I am avid for such pipes and hold back this one too

The bend pipe has a crack on the chamber outside but I am using the inlay for the first time and the result is good so I have tamp it with what I have glue and file-dust so now it is WONDERFUL smoker. I am sincere it is one of my best smokers. No Teflon cones only fine ebonite.

And the pot – well, it become just fine, the grain and the balance is fine. Perfect smoker too. When I saw the grain I decided to hold it, so I have made the mouthpiece for my mouth and teeth. The parallel bend at 2 sides of the mouthpiece are made just about this. It was parallel / even before.

Ok, let me know what did you think …. And please be CRITICAL
Regards
George

Great stain! it looks like a two step progress. For me the only things a would have changed in the first pipe is making the stem as flush at the shank extension (which is amazing) and I would have made a sloping step on the stem instead of a right angle. but that just me I really admire the fluid line around the pipe. keep up the great work

Like them both, the bent more, though. What's the extension made from? Look oak-ish?

The stain is especially nice, yes!
