Pipe Making Instruction Back Online

Post by Tyler »

Thanks to a generous donation of server space and installation labor (by two different people), Tyler Lane Pipes is back online with pipe making instructional material. During the process of the reinstall I noticed a few things were out of date. My favorite discovery of out-of-date material was the following quote about the forum that was launched at the same time as the instructional material:
My hope is that a community of pipe makers will be formed that exchanges information among themselves and in so doing help one another grow in the pleasures of pipe making.
I think that turned out OK, no? Way to go gang, this forum is quite a wonderful resource because you all participate! THANKS!!! :thumb:

Yep, Tyler! You created a Monster! (in a very good way!) :thumb:

Now you won't have people(like me!) Bugging you for instructions! BTW, thanks for emailing the tutorial on using bamboo!

Thanks, And a Thanks to Kurt for his work taking over the forums.

Tyler, it's nice to know the instruction films are still there for the next bunch of pipemakers. Gosh --- a little stability in this hectic age; who'd a thunk it?

I think Tyler's site is down, or maybe the domain expired? It's pulling up one of those generic search things now

Let me know if any of that needs to be hoisted anywhere. I'd hate to loose access to it again!

I think you're right Scott. My last 2 email updates have bounced from Tyler's email addy at his old site:

No MX records were found for the 'tylerlanepipes.com' domain.Failed four attempts to connect to the recipients mail server.

Thanks Rad, I just checked the whois database, and it turns it expired on July 15th. I have another E-mail addy for Tyler and will shoot him a head's up.
