Well, here's what I've been working on lately. This is another freehand drilled pipe, and i had about the same success, which is some, but not totally. The bit for my guide hole must have wandered because the bowl is way too far forward. The draft hole is a bit off too. But the shape came out wonderfully.

I'm using a green acrylic for the stem with some ornamentaion in a leaf motif.







I'd love to hear your comments, good and bad.

I think the shape is great and well oriented with the grain. Hope to see it finished soon.
