Ironwood

Has anybody done any work with Ironwood? Someone gave me a chunk to mess with. I was concerned about whether Ironwood was toxic. I thought it might work for extensions or somethign.

Bocote isn't found on the reference list, or through any of the links on the same page. Anyone know of the toxicity of Bocote?
