Hello everybody

Post by MRM »

My name is Michael, i live in SW Arkansas. I'm 50yr old and been a welder/fabricator most of my life.

I love smoking pipes, looking at pipes, holding pipes.
I love making stuff.
See where I'm going?

I am not tooled up nor do I have my shop set up.
What I do have is a desire to learn and create.
I am really looking at a pm 10/30v, just gotta be patient.
I have an assortment of drill bits and files and I'm working on a French wheel kinda sanding pad.

I have a small cheap wood lathe that is getting set up as a buffing station.

Prolly won't be commenting much for a while but I'll be around here reading up.

Welcome.

I‘m a noob like you and happy you’re joining.
Read the forums carefully, especially the gallery.

BTW: a small Wood lathe is pretty nice for drilling and initial shaping. Looks like you’re set to start out nicely.

Have fun.
