This is my first pipe. The second resulted in a sand pit through-and-through the shank/bowl. I have used nothing but X-Actos, files, sandpaper. Power, only for drill buffing.
I’ve no engineering experience other than in software development.
I’ve no choice but to be pedestrian in pipe making, and I welcome advice, input, and constructive criticism not discounting any relevant disadvantages or unapologetic inability.

Not bad; especially considering your tooling limitations. My only suggestion is to put a slight bend in the stem and it looks like you got yourself a pretty good smoker.

Thanks, wdteipen. Now that you mention it, I believe the kit for this I bought from VF was indeed meant for a bent. I will research bending the stem and forge ahead!
