Repair referral...

I haven’t been active on this forum for a number of years, and have personally taken a hiatus from pipe making in general otherwise I would attempt this myself:

A friend of mine has five or six pipes with broken/worn out stems he needs repaired and I told him I’d ask this forum for referrals for someone who does that sort of thing.

Depending on the value of the pipes, it's almost always best just to send them to people who do this for a living - Walker Briar Works, Briarville, Norwood, etc. They can do it cheap/fast/easy.

There may be some traction here but most pipe makers are not kitted out the way repairmen are.
