How you got into pipe making: Saw a deer antler that I thought I would like as a bit, made my first pipe and decided I wanted to make more and better ones at that.

My first pipe was made from scratch using a deer antler, copper pipe for the furrel, and cherry wood from a tree the neighbor chopped years ago. I know it's not great looking but it did smoke. Started to crack however so I plugged the draught hole and sealed it so hopefully it will still keep together as a display piece so in a few years i can see how far I've come.
