Quick Change Tool Post Set

Post by kasperbunk »

Hello guys.
I've been looking for some time now, on upgrading my lathe with a "Quick Change Tool Post"
My Lathe is a Chinese bench, known as a "Contimac CQ6123b" I think that it is similar to the Grizzly G4000, but not sure.

The "Contimac CQ6123b"

Also looks identical to this one

Could you guys recommend anything that works?

Contimac, so I'm assuming you're in Europe. Earlier posts indicate you're in Denmark?

If you're in Europe, have a look at the QCTP's sold by Paulimot (paulimot.de or amazon.de), I have one of them and they work great!

I've got a few pictures of it on my website:

Yep from Denmark.
As you can see on the pic. The dimension on the center bolt is about 10mm and the threading is 8M
Can you see if anyone fits?

Most QCTP's will have a larger hole than 10mm so no need to worry there, just a turn a bushing to suit.
