My wife's pipes

Post by kamkiel »

So recently I have been joined by my wife in the workshop! She wants to make pipes with me, which I think is wonderful. Sometimes its a bit overwhelming because she doesn't drill holes or cut stems, and I feel like I'm working for her, but thats okay. It's nice to have her around. Besides this, she studies fine arts in college and has a pretty good eye.

After she sanded through the stem on her 6th pipe she got tired of waiting for me to cut another one. She found an old crappy Dunhill stem that fit on a crappy piece of briar that was already drilled and made this:

Then her 6th pipe

Her 7th pipe (you might notice that the stem on this pipe is the old one from my "revisited" tomato)

This last one she helped me do some shaping while waiting for a stem for the pipe she is currently making

Thanks for looking,
Kiel

Very nice! This collaboration looks extremely promising.
