So, for real, what do I do to join the virtual get-together? I think I have a Google+ account because I always get e-mails about whatever stream-of-consciousness posts David Migdal has recently made. Help a brotha' out, would ya'?.

If you have a gmail account, you have a google+ account. You might need to activate it. Go to plus.google.com You may have to continue past a setup screen of sorts.

The chats start at 9pm EST time, when they start, somebody(usually Nate) sends out an invite to all parties, and it should show up on your screen in the righthand chat widget. You simply accept the invitation, and possibly have to install a software update for your webcam to work.
