Hey guys just finished my first pipe after Chicago changed a lot looking for some input

It's looking pretty nice, Ian. Especially the button looks spot on to me. This particular acorn isn't my style, but it looks like you hit the shape you were aiming for. The shoulder in your stem doesn't work for me. It's too sharp of a drop off. It looks like you tried to mix two stem styles. A military mount is round where it meets a flat surface on the shank, but there's a functional reason for that. And a saddle isn't round on the saddle but rather flat.

I don't mind the round stem, I think it works on the pipe, doesn't introduce any extraneous ideas to the shape.

Bowl to shank could and should be tighter, the bowl is wowed out toward the shank - just follow the curve from top to bottom as one smooth line and you'll see the extra meat.

Bottom of the stem could use a little more off (this is a visual trick on bent pipes). Just smooths out that curve a little.

Good pipe, proof being that it sold instantly too.
