Bowl Symmetry on a Dublin

Post by Thomas Tkach »

Here is a CanaDublin I'm trying to finish the shaping on. The bowl has a pretty good forward cant to it. I don't think the back (side facing smoker) of the bowl is tapered as much as the front and sides, and my question is, Should be perfectly symmetrical or not?

I plan to slim down the bowl a little more all around, maybe shorten it some, and then round the bottom out a little more to get rid of the chin and clean up the lines all around. Any more suggestions?
