I was reading tylers post on the gallery board and thought that a separate board for asking for critiques might be helpful. It would be nice to be able to have all the critiques in one area so someone could read through them and take note of what works and what doesn't.

I have been reading posts in the gallery board but there are a lot of posts with people simply sharing what the have made.

I find that if someone asks for critiques they get a wealth of suggestions from the members. So if we had a board just for critiques then it would be assumed that the poster wants all the input members could give him.

The new board is just an Idea I had, thought I'd share.

I always thought of the gallery as the critique board... it just that some times, no one critiques. I figure if someone posts a pic, they're implicitly looking for feedback, negative or positive.

Yeah I agree with you but it seems when someone specifies they want a critique they really get some good feedback. I was enjoying reading through some of the posted pipes and the detailed critiques that went along with them. It would be nice if they were easier to find.

But yeah I was just thinking out load with the post. The gallery is sufficient.
