pasunepipe

Post by pasunepipe »

Real name: Jeff Maskel
Age: 32
Location: McKinney, TX (North Dallas area)
Years a pipe smoker: Just started smoking a pipe about 4 months ago, but I am already obsessed.
How you got into pipe making: I had the strong urge to smoke out of something I had made for myself. I have yet to make my own pipe, but I obsessively research it daily.
Other interesting facts: I also enjoy brewing tasty IPA's.

Both pipe smoking and making has made it's mark on me quite quickly. I can already tell this will be a long time obsession.

from one home brewer to another, welcome! cutting pipes is like brewing beer: don't let a bad batch discourage you! the next one may be gold!

Welcome, it can be a obsession. I recommend a kit fro Vermont Freehand or JHLowe. It will give you a feel for the work, give you a pipe to smoke, and allow you to decide how to proceed, without a major investment in tools or the need to immediately tackle drilling.
