Hell Summer

We all make stuff other than pipes, so here's a place where "anything goes" as far as showing off some of your projects and other hobbies.

Hell Summer

Post by Ironpenny »

This summer is a writeoff due to yardwork unfortunately. New house = landscaping.

No pipe making

Except smoking them!

Anyway .. this is where I'm at so far. Built the fence and painted. Framed and poured a concrete retaining wall, backfilled and ready for cultured stone. Framed and decked a new cedar deck.

Next steps are:

- Regrading the rough grade and prepping 2 cobblestone paths.
- Oil stain the deck.
- Build cedar planter pots for the stepped part of the deck.
- Mortar the cultured stone onto the wall.
- Build steps up the wall .. something similar to the deck style.
- Topsoil
- Sod
- Trees/Shrubs, etc.

Sigh. Yard is a disaster, but won't be for long I hope!
