First pipe rack

We all make stuff other than pipes, so here's a place where "anything goes" as far as showing off some of your projects and other hobbies.

First pipe rack

Post by Archer »

Did this with a drill press and a router table. My first one of many, it was a lot of fun. I didn't gloss the finish because I think the shiny pipe should pop out instead of competing with the pipe stand finish. So its a muted finish. It holds seven pipes, a good week rotation! Just wanted to share!

Really nice rack... looks like it's been passed down the family for decades. Pipes aint shabby either.

Thanks guys the compliments flatter me! Edward, you nailed it! Forstner only, to get the bottom I turn it on its side and drilled down, I even made a jig to do this and hold it center, so I can probably replicate it often now.
