Gun kits

We all make stuff other than pipes, so here's a place where "anything goes" as far as showing off some of your projects and other hobbies.

There's also Dixie Gun Works.

Back in the day, I used to make two or three pilgrimages a year to Union City, TN, just to buy the fixings for another smokepole. DGW has some pretty nice looking kits, though I never built one from a kit. All mine were from scratch.

But definitely peruse their website, or if you're going through that patch of country, stop by and spend a few hours going through their store/museum. It's time well spent.

Unfortunately, as Alan mentioned, the profit margins really aren't there on blackpowder rifles. Pipes, knives, etc., are your best bet if you want to make money at it.
