I once considered making knives. Then I received a knife from Ollie .... and reality hit like a ton of bricks.

You should just go for it. It really isn't that hard to make a serviceable knife. What's really hard is making it look good and work well. So really just about anybody can make an ugly "user" with a little information a good eye. The looks will just have to come with practice. I made my first out of a sawsall blade filed to shape and heat treated with my dad's propane torch. Total cost for the knife was maybe $5.

....aaaand... :roll: Is there a kind of online shop or something where one could look at and maybe...decide and buy?
