 Post subject: Had to make something

I'm currently out of briar so I had to make something. Here are a couple of things I've been up to.

Very nice. What kind of wood is that first shaving kit made with? I make bamboo fly rods and that would make one hell of a reel seat.

That wood is a stabilized clear buckeye burl.
