Scottie,
A request for clarification, if I may.
You've indicated the theme for the carving contest this year is a bamboo shank. I was under the impression that as long as bamboo was incorporated in some manner in the construction, it was "anything goes". Has it now been ruled that it must be a bamboo shank?
I ask because I have another idea on using bamboo, not necessarily restricted to the shank.

You've got it right, Mr. Red.

Scottie just had bamboo shank on the brain for some reason when she was typing.

Ms. P: Please edit any announcements you may have sprinkled around the Net asap. Thanx.

Does the cart and payment work if we do it all online? I may actually make it to the show this year.

TABLE REGISTRATION
Time is running out to reserve your tables! If you are attending the show and want a table please go to http://www.gkcpipeclub.com today and register for a table, the Carvers Contest, purchase raffle tickets and Saturday evening Banquet tickets.

NORTH AMERICAN CARVERS CONTEST
If you are mailing your contest entries please remember they must be received no later than Thursday, September 21st. If you will be at the show Quinton must have your entries before dinner on Friday evening. Please visit the club's website to register for the contest.

CARVERS RAFFLE
PLEASE SHOW YOUR CONTEST PIPES to your customers. Help us promote the Carvers Contest and Raffle by showing in progress and finished pictures of your contest entries and by asking your customers to purchase raffle tickets. I will be attending the NASPC Show in Columbus and will be selling Carvers Raffle Tickets there. Come find me at my table...or send people my way...to purchase. Remember, there are ONLY 300 raffle tickets available and the more you buy the better your chances of winning the set are.

Good Luck Everyone! See you in KC :-)
