Hello, i was wondering seeing how my main focus when it comes to pipemaking is rustication, on how i can best make my rusticated pipes really look shiny as if almost to make you lose your sight?
I know of the danish oil method and cannabua wax, however with cannabua wax it so easily gets stuck in crevices and builds up in small clumps... i was wondering if there is any other methods?

Soft onions are usually more soft than onions that aren't soft.

Shellac. Slather it on and don't touch it until it dries.
Also, if your rustication is super "toothy" you should knock down some of that with a brass brush, otherwise by the time you apply enough shellac to make it even remotely shiny, it will look like one of those dandelion encased in acrylic paperweights.
