Yes, I bought some of his briar now and then, he's a reliable seller.
Seemingly he's selling stuff that has remained from a former german pipe factory ("Heibe", if I'm supposed to guess).
The wood is okay, but no super good grains.

When I started he was my primary source of briar. At about $5-6 a block it's great stuff to learn on. Like Jos said, it isn't the most spectacular briar, but every now and then a block surprises you. I've never used any of his briar that was too flawed to make a pipe.

I am new to this forum and pipe making but this is the person I have bought My briar from. I have never had any that was not usable and the pricing seemed good. I would like to thank everyone on this forum for all the wonderful advise and instruction. There seems to be a lot of good will and willingness to help others do what You do. What a great forum
