The shank needs a lot more definition and the transition needs to be sharper. The thick shank throws your proportions off.
Also I think you need to decide whether the stem should be a saddle or taper. It looks very ambivalent.

Thank you DocAitch. So the shank should be narrower and have more radius where it joins the bowl? The stem was a pre formed stem that came like that. I wasn't sure what to do with it.

Smaller radius where it joins the bowl.
The bowl should have a continuous shape through the transition with a smallish radius to join it to the shank.
Study a billiard or a pot particularly at the transition. The bowl and shank basically are separate shapes that join with a smallish radius ( usually one which is easy to finish-you don’t want an angle that you cannot reach with sand paper or polishing wheel)
Sorry about my comment on the stem, I thought it was your own design.

Thank you DocAitch for the advise. I will do more studding shapes and reading this forum. No problem about the stem. I need to remember that I can reshape the stems. I use the pre shaped stems. Because I don't think I have the tools or know what to do with the stock from scratch. I do plan to learn one day. Right now I feel like a beginner.
