Pipemaking mini "documentary"

Post by Massis »

Since "Father The Flame" is taking FOREVER to complete, I decided to make my own little video about how I make pipes in my tiny tiny workshop.

It's a 10-minute mini documentary, taking a pipe from start to finish, excluding only a few steps in the finishing process because, well, they're mine...

Let me know what you think! (about the video! My skills need more honing, I'm aware of that already  )

Very good! I always love seeing others processes and shop set ups. Thanks for taking the time.

Half the time? I had the idea a month ago and made this in 3 nights of filming/pipemaking over the course of 2.5 weeks. 8)

Father the flame - and don't get me wrong, I'm really looking forward to it and it will be a different level of production obviously - has been going on since 2012... I know it's a movie about slowing down, but they're exaggerating the whole "leading by example" thing.

Excellent video, I shared it with my wife who doesn't quite have the same passion for pipes and tobacco that I do and she kept saying things like, "Wow thats so pretty...' and 'Ooo, what's that?" Great way to share with her part of why I enjoy this so much!

No worries, I'm giving myself nightmares! I posted a little clip on Youtube myself a while back, as a dare from a friend. Nothing as spectacular or polished as yours, though. But it still gives me a shiver down my spine, every time I think of it. And the odd nightmare that wakes me up at 2 in the night..

Thanks for posting that link.

It's nice to see the face behind the user name and get a sense of who you are.
