I'll put the images here, so we can look without opening new browsers just to see the pictures: http://www.tylerlanepipes.com/modules/coppermine/albums/userpics/10044/normal_DSC00312.JPG http://www.tylerlanepipes.com/modules/coppermine/albums/userpics/10044/normal_DSC00362.JPG The grain is great! I, for one, prefer my pipes to sell quickly so I can make more, and for that, a smooth pipe must be as smooth as possible. People do like shiny things :D

(Every pipe will get some texture given some time, thought...)

On sanding

In short, here is an advice: When finished the rough sanding of your pipe, let it rest for a day or two. Now, the simple rationale. Put some drooling countermeasures before looking at this picture: http://www.scandpipes.com/log/pipes/databasebilleder/full/231-11.jpg After you stop drooling at that b...

the only thing I'd comment on is the stain. I agree the stain is beautiful and the wood is great too... The only thing that I notice is that when I look at the top of the shank the stain seems to be darker than the rest of the stain on the pipe. Now, I think that is probably just lighting, my obser...

Oh, don't worry, I don't feel you are being picky or something. I understand your intentions are good (you see, my english is not very mucho bueno and I probably sounded offended or defensive; be sure, I was not :) Now I understand what you mean. Yes, that line was intentional; it just didn't turn a...

The pipe has, indeed, problems with alignment of the airway. However, I don't care for that kind of stuff; the air hole meets the chamber just in the base, and, in my humble opinion, that's the really important thing. I understand potential customers can be sensitive at this stuff, and that's why th...

Another White Stemmed

Yup, another pipe with a white stem. http://pipes.epublish.cl/images/epimg060.JPG (More pictures here .) (I usually post my work here, but it's also for sale. I don't know if this can be viewed as unethical or something; but I doubt another pipemaker would consider buying a pipe :) so I'll assume it...

Heh, nice one, random. Yes, I guess it has some... er, hawkbillness on it. The stem is curved, but the shank is curved too.

The first picture is absolutely weird; the white cloth under the pipe didn't help.

Ambar stem

Hi! This is my last work. I had finished this pipe and then decided that I didn't liked the way the shank/stem part looked, it had this weird angle that someway cut the flow of the pipe. So I made a piece (a cilinder wrapped in sandpaper) and put it on a machine, and it helped to made a nice arch in...

Heh, it lasted for full four hours in my website, it is already sold.

(When I got the receipt, I was dancing and singing "Who's yer daddy?!?! Who's yer daddy??!? Are you talkin' to me?!?!)

I made the stummel, the stem was a gift (from Alberto Bonfiglioli, what a guy.) The drilling of this pipe is the best I've come yet, and if it doesn't sell in two weeks, I am going to smoke the heck of it :D

Geocities doesn't allow to link directly to images. Also, it limits the data transfer in Mb-per-hour basis.

I saw a poker variation in your site that I liked very much, thought.

Heh, maybe it's necessary to centrifugate and heat the stummels at the same time :D

I'm already selling my pipes, but I think I hardly classify as 'pro'. I'm forced to sell them since I don't have any budget left to buy briar, left alone tools or machinery (luckily my father owns a workshop.) As for prices, my price is 100 dollars. I'll charge less if the pipe have some flaws, or I...
