Anyone have any Bohemian Scandal, Renaissance, Mephisto?
I know this is a long shot, but I'm looking to buy and/or trade for some of the extinct GL Pease blends. Syrian latakia is my favorite varietal and I'm always trying to stock up on the stuff, particularly the ever-classy Bohemian Scandal. Probably my most compelling trade right now is Esoterica Ston...

Anyone familiar with Total Shop?
So a family friend recently gave me an old Total Shop, and I'm trying to figure out how to turn it into a working lathe without spending too much. Since I'm going to want to invest in a full lathe at some point, I don't want to dump too much money into this thing; on the other hand, I'd like to get ...

Re: Any suggestions on how to make one of these
I offered $2 and some leftovers from this Thanksgiving, but the seller didn't seem interested. It's a shame; my family makes some damn fine stuffing and cranberry sauce.

Re: Ernie's Shrine of Pipe Perfection
I'm not sure that this conversation hasn't run its course, but I would like to see an explanation of the purpose behind the undercut if it is indeed an intentional feature. It definitely breaks the line and, to me, it looks weird. So what does it do to benefit the overall presentation of the pipe if...

Re: What is the purpose of PMF?
I think this is just growing pains. In the last decade or so, there have been a huge number of twenty- to thirty-somethings who watched The Lord of the Rings and/or The Hobbit, remembered that their grandfather smoked pipes, and then picked up a corncob and some tins of tobacco. And it was inevitabl...

Re: OK, so which one of you...
There is a report function on eBay, and we should probably be using it even if nothing comes of it. Someone might save some poor slouch $3,000 on a Nordh with fissures.

I like this thread because now I know who Nate King is. Those steampunk pipes are weird and fascinating and I want one. Congratulations on making the cover, Nate!

Blender: Vincent Manil Blend Name: Val Ardennais - Réserve du Patron Description on Package: None, unless you count the giant Belgian “smoking kills” warning label. The packaging is otherwise very attractive , to my eye. Leaf: Long ribbons, mostly nut brown in color , with some tans and lighter sha...

Re: Semois Pipe Tobacco: US Group Buy
You'd do the right thing putting them in a humidor. I'd even suggest doing the same with the Semois. The reason it's so dry is to prevent mold while shipping etc, but in a clean environment a humidor should be perfect. I don't smoke cigars much and don't have a humidor, so my semois is going in a p...

Re: International shipping?
It seems like FedEx would do better for shipping internationally; I assume they'd be able to track it into the other country most of the time rather than handing it off to the local P.O. Anyone have experience with this? Or is it just prohibitively expensive?
