Yeah this was my first attempt at this shape, The straight sections as you mention are an optical illusion.

Well that certainly is unique! I like that the cat is yawning and that you utilized the yawn as the chamber of the pipe, the teeth are a nice touch. Now as your pipe making skill improves it will be interesting at least to me to see what you can do with your imagination.

Wow! I love the scorpion tails. Really unique. I see one or two designs I would like to have as my own.
