When production started up again, a lot of the previous offerings simply didn't get put back into the...

Oh Look!, Sophmoric humor! Your wit leaves much to desired. With that said, is there anyone who can help me? I have to think that when one makes a churchwarden stem that the hole just doesn't magically appear. So what do you use? "Sophomoric" shouldn't be capitalized unless it is at the b...

I am always game Kurt. I appreciate a solid critique and know their value from years in Art school / College. My goal by posting my pipes here is to learn from those who are more established and "further along" in their craftmanship than I. I look forward to any more suggestions as they wi...

Sorry, but the stem doesn't work for me on this one. And for some reason the stummel also needs to be better refined. Why does'nt the stem work for you? And what do you mean by more refined? Maybe if you can be more specific I could understand a little more of what your talking about, and therefore...

New Oliphant

Well here is my first from 2009. It still needs some final touches but it is 98% complete. The stand is from the briar block the pipe was cut from. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d174/pkuziel/Pipes/Olliphant2web.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d174/pkuziel/Pipes/Olliphant-4-web.jpg http://i...

Todd[/quote] I have heard of her. Miss Rita Lee Shotts contacted me about making a HUGE apple for her. She seemed ve...

Well that certainly is unique! I like that the cat is yawning and that you utilized the yawn as the chamber of the pipe, the teeth are a nice touch. Now as your pipe making skill improves it will be interesting at least to me to see what you can do with your imagination.
