Jigs like these can be of help but learning to do it freehand will be quicker and grant you more freedom in the long run

I completely left out the fact that it has apps you can download and install in it. It has a piano app with which you can draw a piano keyboard on a piece of paper, and the pen reads your key placement and when you tap the keys on the drawing, the proper piano note will sound from the pen speaker. ...

judging from the plateaux shown they seem rater loose grained..we've made several hundred pipes out of corsican plateaux some where great blocks others whent into the trash bin much like usual.. Simeon I hate to shatter your illusion but that is NOT a sandblasted cutty :cry: when will they learn... Beutifull pipe.. nice lines.. Is that ping pong ivory?? the only critique i can give is the stem witch shoud be bent a bit more fluedly and its just a tad to long in my taste..But its an easy fix...

Not wild about drums, it's not a very useful shape for pipe making, in my opinion. You need the edge of a wheel to get inside angles, and you need a larger surface to keep the ripples down. The sanding drums don't have a very large area so they'll wear out quickly and I'm guessing will be somewhat ...
