i have not tried that but read once that it is very low heat probably as low as it can go and the door needs to be kept open. and as for time i think is was said over a few days i think. cant remember where i read id but i think it was from mike butera?? i just dry mine in my garage durring the summ...

the press is a bit tougher to do stems on and yes a pimo tenon turner is a great buy. i have and still use mine on occasion. as for the expencive cross slide vice i think you are looking for something too precise. i bought mine from harbor freight and it was like 40$ it has held up fine. i havent ch...

on the varic idea i dont know if i agree with that. the setup he has looks to work fine for him and it is a bit of a specialty tool in itsself. so would mr talbert realy need to spend the money to have various pullys made when he just needs only one speed anyways??

if you mix the orange with the tan or the light brown you will get a good pumpkin looking stain. i used it for a project with my daughter havent used it on a pipe yet but would think it would be nice for a halloween pipe. 8)
