Re: Yeti Pipe #10

I like it man. Nice stem work. Thin and the slot looks real clean. That is some funky looking tobacco on the table though

Re: Lines across your screen?

I had the lines as well. After I had to format my hard drive, re-install windows and Chrome. The fix mentioned by UberHuberMan worked perfect.

I have seen where people use dental clay inside of a chamber to fix issues.

Pyramid Tool

Saw this page and made one to try. Thought I would share. Although I am a pure beginner at any form of wood turning with hand tools on a lathe this tool cuts like butter, at least on some Spanish cedar. http://aroundthewoods.com/three.shtml http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc6/205311_44870796181...

Re: Advice on Bulldog 8-12

Pretty cool. What is the stem material?

Only thing that kind of made me stop was that I am not sure if the bottom of the pipe should line up with the center line of the of the chamber. Chin? Inverse apex?

Good stem work I thinks.

Re: Poker 6-8-12

Crappy pictures and you still caught that. Keen eye. I did not sand the chamber. I am already smoking this pipe. I have no idea why I didn't. If my pipes were good enough to sell I certainly would. While on the subject of sanding the chamber; To what grit? Why sand it? Does the cake form easier if n...

It really is a great little lathe, micro that it is. I have turned several small stummels with it. Fixing to have a chuck modified for it.
