Re: 2012 Pipe In the Hat Trade

Sand pits, broken shanks, wallered holes, yee ha!

As I stated previously I am working on a two piece (three if count removable stem). Looking good to get it done by the 4th as long as I am not called in for overtime.

Cheers

Re: 2012 Pipe In the Hat Trade

Looking slim as to my pipe being completed. I destroyed a shank and do not have a block big enough for a single piece cavalier. Trying to get a 2 piece done in time.... At least I have learned some things in the process.

I really like that one Ocelot. Looks good. I really don't care if there are a few small pits on a pipe.

Rock star status in my book Walt! Love the rustication as well. Did you use a special homemade tool for it or a combination of things?

Thank you for sharing!

Sharper edges (angle) from the two rings to the bottom?

Thanks for the input.

Re: Number 7.

I was able to fix the bottom of the chamber taping some sandpaper to the end of a delrin rod. Smooth transition to the bottom now. Very happy with the results.

And, I have sold my first pipe! :D
