So I went and checked the drill press. It’s off a little. I don’t know if I can blame all my issues on it, but it’s definitely in need of adjustment. I’ll go through everything else suggested, too.

Thanks for all the helpful responses. I’m wrapped up with a couple of knife jobs right now, but I will definitely be checking for square on the drill press and vise.
