I see the problem Kurt, to mix the fluids will create a reaction not wanted lol. Good thing to never have the 2 bottles open at the same time. While applying the second fluid never put the same pipecleaner twice in bottle, always use a new one for each time. Sorry, it doesn´t say anything else but w...

Soz Kurt, That´s why i decided to post the chemical names along with the thread so the...

 I guess we all have our bright moments, it´s a stain so deep into the wood that i used 10 min polishing with red polishpaste and just freed some tiny spots from the pit black, then i used 400 grid to highlight the soft wood and finaly stained it with pure yellow alcohol stain. No fears of the ...

thank you! I had access to Eltangs machinery with these pipes, he invited me for a quick run through the machinery i got from Bo. The stain is Eltangs famous contrast, lots of work but the result is stunning. If translated word by word it´s (brasschloride, natriumchlorat) second is (anilinhydrochlor...

I would never try to sell my work on ebay, i have always been trying to find the buyer among collectors or smokers who realize the true value of hand made pipes. Takes time but after a while the word get out and things getting easier. I have been fortunate to have Frenchy as PR too, great guy with w...

To be honest i really don´t think any craftsmen can charge per hour during the first years in the trade, untill the quality of crafmanship is recognized. At least here in Sweden the market is very hard for all craftsmen even the most experienced have problems getting their hours of sweat and hard wo...

I like the shape some influence from Tokutomi, the staining will be so much better if you sand before each stain you get so much more depth and clear finish to the grain. Great work!

Thx!! It smokes like a dream, cool and dry. The shape is similar to Bo´s cracked pipe but i don´t use extention so i had to make the pipe a bit stubby to make the stem fit better to the shape. I have been doing absolute nothing for very long time and i guess i got a bit under the ice and not up to d...

I played around in my workshop with no proper tools

My old workshop have a lathe that makes very bad drillings off center so i have to mount drill to lathechuck and drill pipe in hand. But, i really needed a new smoker so i started to make a pipe, been away for more than 6 months so i didn´t have any high hopes of the shape. I didn´t even do the fini...

According to Bengt carlson, Cornelius makes some really unique and topgrade pipes. I think it´s really hard getting hold of one of his pipes but perhaps Per Billhäll can arrange something if you really want one of the cornelius pipes. I looked at one of his pipes that Bengt got as a gift from Cornel...

Sunday the 16:th i got the heritage from Bo Nordh

In Bo´s last will he wanted me to have all his machinery and toolings from his workshop, the 16:th Tom Eltang and Jan Andersson drove all the way from the southern of Sweden to my workshop with all the machinery and toolings. I was stunned by Bo´s thoughts and didn´t understand it untill the machine...

FINALY the briar arrived from Algeria it took 2 years

I was mighty surprised when the mailman honked his horn outside my house today and delivered a large bax from Algeria on my porch. 2 years ago if not more i ordered a prepayed box of briar and after a long and irritated time with many mails it finaly arrived. Perhaps it were the postings at this for...
