Hey guys

whats up guys how you all been haven't been here for a longtime I see that some guys are still goin strong cranking out pipes and tyler not selling pipes anymore tobad he makes awesome pipes.Well just wanted to say aloha again to you all and hopefully I'll get the bug and make pipes again!!!!!!!!!!!...

Thanks guys and Ben Thats not trashing thats good advice about the shank stem transition I see that I mostly sanded with my fingers mainly thumb on that part trying to get the shank&stem fitted together so I guess it had a slight taper and the other question about the angle the pic makes it look...

Pipe number 2

This is pipe number 2 that I drilled my self looks kind of bent but the shank is just angled and drilled straight. It had some small pits on the bottom and side and a larger one on the curve by the bend of the shank so I covered it up with a rusticated swirl. :) All in all I think its all right but ...

Very nice first two pipes I like the shapes of both and the rustication job is sweet also the first has some nice birdseye.

Yeah the bend is kind of big but I thought it fit ok so I left it. Oh and as all of you pros say the pipe cleaner test thingy it passes that and it smokes real good I'm pretty satisfied with it .

Yarnie I just went nuts with a dremel tool but as Rad showed you also can use that Rustication tool with the dremel for a better look. :)

First pipe

I did a couple of practice pipes with maple blocks before finally finishing my first briar pipe the piece was small so I added a shank of maple and rosewood and it was also my first rustication to hope you guys like it. :) sorry if the pics are not to clear http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0WAAEA08YyFq...
