OK - I've looked at this post a couple of times throught the day at work and I really don't like it. It's going back to the bench for some major reshaping. Will post updates later.

FWIW This hack thinks the bend looks right. Although I like the look of "underbent" or moderatly bent pipes, I like the feel of overbent pipes. Especially if it's on the heavy side, an overbent pipe seems to hang more comfortably from ones mouth.

Would more stemwork improve the lines?

I'm not real happy with this one, but I made an early decision to post my first ten pipes.
