Where to find the closest pipe show to Rochester
Hey I was wondering where or how to find the closest pipe show to Rochester, NY. I see that there are some in Ohio. Is there a website or listings of shows in the US?

Re: Looking for helpful critiques
I completely agree with you guys and I appreciate the feedback. Problem is I knew the freehand designs could benefit from something..... Just couldn't put the words to it. I've done a few "billiards" but they are sorry excuses for proper proportions. My plan is to focus on some basic shape...

Looking for helpful critiques
Here is the blog site I just started. I'm pretty new at this but I'm looking for some pointers, unless my work is perfect , as to where my time would be well spent practicing or improving.

Re: New guy saying hi
Sorry to hear about your buffing woes. Buffing is the most recent skill among all the innumerable skills necessary to make a pipe that I've had to learn. It's surprisingly intricate to get right and incredibly frustrating when something goes wrong. My advice: pick up the pipes you broke and practic...

New guy saying hi
So I have been making pipes off and on for about 6 years but all without any guidance as far as how it should be done. This has resulted in some interesting designs. I started in college because I couldn't afford a pipe of my own and had access to the art building's shop tools. Myself and Tobacco ge...
